Small Businesses are the backbone of Massachusetts’ economy. Massachusetts is home to more than 700,000 small businesses that employ 1.4 million people across all industries, playing a vital role in innovation, job creation, and community growth throughout the state. We are proud to advocate for and empower small and microbusinesses, providing the connections and support they need to succeed.
Transportation First addresses the transportation crisis in Massachusetts. Creating a world class transportation system requires policymakers, employers, and residents to recognize that transportation is a public good and should be treated as such urgently. By putting transportation first, the Commonwealth will be in a better position to solve other policy issues which are barriers to the region’s continued growth and prosperity like housing, climate decarbonization and adaption, economic development, economic opportunity, and education access.
